Maloney’s Barbershop

The traditional barber shop experience has had a bit a resurgence in the past few years, with a number of Barbershops coming and going in the Auckland area. Guys these days want more than just a haircut. They want solid styles, experienced barbers rather than a standard hairdresser, who are able to provide a proper cut for a man.

Maloney’s Barber Shop, located on Victoria Street West, are an Auckland barbershop institution. Established back in 2003, Maloney’s is the only establishment I would ever go to get a slick cut ever since being introduced to them back in October of 2013. I can honestly say I have never had a hair cut as perfect as I have received at Maloney’s.

Husband and Wife duo, Julian and Sue make sure you feel at home as soon as you come through the doors and stock their staff roster with talented cutters that know how to achieve the haircut you are after.

And when you have a business that provides such a top quality service, you know that you may have to wait for that service, and at Maloney’s its a first come first served service with no bookings. But don’t let that put you off! Just walk in, write your name on the board, and wait your turn. The earlier you get in, the less time you need to wait. That’s why I try to get in early on Saturday mornings.

Maloney’s also stocks a wide range of hair products, combs, beard oils and a great range of their own merchandise which is definitely worth picking up!

And finally the price is spot on, with men’s cuts starting at just $27. Check in store for the full price list, including Beard Trims, Scissor Cuts and even a senior discount!

The team in at Maloney’s are quality folk, and are huge supporters of Movember, which is ALWAYS a plus in my book.

If you need an update to your look, get in and see the team at Maloney’s. Tell them MoBro.co.nz sent yah!
