This week’s MoBro of the Week is yet another Rockstar with a stunning Moustache! The frontman of The Eagles of Death Metal, Jesse ‘The Devil’ Hughes aka. The Boots Electric.
Hughes founded The Eagles of Death Metal back in 1998 with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. Hughes first met and became friends with Josh in High School in California when Homme saved him from being bullied.
Jesse Hughes is a true rock n roller from the boots up. Heavily influenced by Little Richard, he is pure Rock n Roll. 3 Albums since their inception, and numerous tours with Joan Jett, Peaches and even one show supporting Gun’s N Roses (where Axl Rose nicknamed them The Eagles of Shit Metal) through to headlining tours and even two shows so far in New Zealand, most recently on this years inaugural WestFest back in February.
Jesse’s Moustache is for lack of a better term pure Rock n Roll.
