The Walking Dead – Season 9
The next installment of the now legendary TV Series, The Walking Dead teases the final season featuring everyone’s favourite sheriff Rick Grimes and a whole new group of enemies for the Alexandrians to face; The Whisperers.

Shazam!
Proving that not all DC films have to be as dark as Batman vs Superman and the like, the latest offering from DC brings to the big screen one of the most enjoyable heroes in their stable.

Billy Batson, a troubled 14-year-old orphan, is set up to move into a new foster home – his seventh in a row – with the Vazquez family and their other five foster kids. One day, Billy gets on a subway car and finds himself transported to a different realm, where an ancient wizard gives him the power to transform into a godlike adult superhero by uttering the word “Shazam!”

Star Wars: The Clone Wars
It was exciting announcement for fans of the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series, when it was announced that the show, after the final season aired back in 2014. Lucasfilm announced the return of the series with 12 new episodes to be distributed on Disney’s own streaming service.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
This is the highly anticipated follow up to the 2016 film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

At the end of the first film, the  dark wizard Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA, with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to stop Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists the help of his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Riverdale – Season 3
Returning in October, the third season of Riverdale is set to bring more drama and teenage angst back to our screens.

With Archie and the gang still facing trouble from the Black Hood, among other standard teenage issues, it looks as thought the series still has plenty more to offer when it returns.

Godzilla: King Of The Monsters
If you are a fan of classic monster movies like I am, sure the latest installment in the Godzilla series must get some attention. The sequel to 2014’s Godzilla, and the 35th film in the Godzilla franchise.

The premise of the latest film follows the efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

The new film even features everyone’s favourite , Millie Bobby Brown from Netflix’s Stranger Things.

Aquaman
Now while I wasn’t the biggest fan of 2017’s Justice League I am holding out some hope on the Jason Mamoa led Aquaman standalone.

Taking place after the events of Justice League, Arthur Curry is a very reluctant ruler of Atlantis who is caught between a bunch of land dwellers that are threatening his oceans, and his own people who are ready to lash out and invade the surface.

The most exciting aspect for me is most definitely the big screen introduction of one of my favourite DC villains, Black Manta.
